Today I went to visit a (very) old friend of the family, Eileen, who is 91. She’s still as sharp as a tack.
It BLOWS MY MIND the things she has seen .The emergence of the television, the realisation of sputnik, man landing on the mood, A FUCKING WORLD WAR, she was actually aware of the holocaust happening in another country, mobile phones, the internet, the international space station etc.

And I would say with the rapid emergence of modern science, I should live well past 80. It’s crazy how advanced nanotech is getting, and we’re definitely on the verge of curing most major diseases. What are we going to see? I mean, Elon is going to Mars in the next decade, Trump is about to be arguably the most powerful man in the world, who is also a billionaire. Hyperloop is coming, that’s going to be incredible. There’s Planetary Resources about to start mining asteroids, and there’s a 3D printer in space. Silicon Valley is pushing us into the Solar System, and there is all this incredible innovation coming out. It’s predicted that in 20 to 30 years, robots will do 80% of the work. So I’ll be around 45-45? That is madness.
